FRIDAYWant to come to Fabulosa Music Film Festival and can’t afford the cost? Volunteer!! We will have 20 slots for volunteers and are now accepting volunteer applications. The deadline for volunteer applications is July 8. When we have enough volunteers we will stop accepting applications, so please apply early - we will try and make it happen for you!
We appreciate your interest in volunteering! Fabulosa volunteers are an essential component to our collective's fund-raising success. And Music and Arts festival volunteering is an experience like no other. You are part of a team, spending time in one of the most beautiful spots in Northern California, hearing music from talented artists from all over the country, knowing that everyone's efforts contribute to raising money for great LGBTQ-oriented causes!
As a prospective volunteer, please read the Fabulosa Music Film Festival’s Volunteer Policy before submitting a Volunteer Application form online. We want to be certain that the exchange between the Festival and our volunteers is clearly defined.
Volunteering at Fabulosa Music Film Festival
The Fabulosa Music Film Festival promises the following to volunteers:
- Volunteers who work 4+ hours will receive a Day Pass to the Festival.
- Volunteers who work 8+ hours (over 2-3 days) will receive an All-Inclusive Weekend Pass to the Festival.
- Volunteers will receive Volunteer T-shirts.
- Volunteers will receive respectful treatment.
- Volunteers will receive a BBQ ticket during your shift and a drink ticket for after your shift.
- Volunteers must be 21 years or older to volunteer for this festival
Please read and agree to the following terms in order to be a volunteer.
The Volunteer agrees to the following:
- I will complete and submit a Volunteer Application (PDF)
- I will complete 8 hours of Festival volunteer assignments in a satisfactory way, showing up on time for shifts, staying required duration, wearing volunteer T-shirt while on shift, respectful treatment of other volunteers, staff, performers, and patrons of the Festival.
- I will abide by the policies of the Fabulosa Music Film Festival, including, but not limited to, zero tolerance for use of controlled drugs and alcohol while on my volunteer shift.

Please answer all questions completely. You can copy and paste your completed application into an email and send to judeae@microsoft.com, or you can print it and mail it to Fabulosa Fest Volunteer Application, c/o El Rio, 3158 Mission St., SF CA 94110. We will have you sign the Terms and Conditions form once you arrive for your shift in Guerneville.
