OUR MISSION

FABULOSA Fest is an inclusive, fund-raising Women’s Music festival. All women and friends are invited to participate in this community gathering to raise funds for good causes! Our collective will be distributing proceeds to Lesbian, Gay, BiSexual, Trans and Queer-oriented charities that serve many communities in Guerneville, San Francisco and beyond.

It is the mission of the FABULOSA Collective to create a fund-raising party where diverse groups of women and their friends come together to celebrate women’s music and art and raise money for worthwhile causes.

The Fabulosa Collective was initially the idea of Dawn Huston, owner of one of the most diverse "dives" on the planet, performance space and watering hole EL RIO in San Francisco. She formed Fabulosa with original members Judea Eden and Jenny Hoyston. Eden is a community activist and a San Francisco blues-folk icon. Hoyston is a West Coast promoter and the bandleader of experimental and political punk group Erase Errata. The collective continues to grow and seek out new members who love to make beautiful things happen.

FABULOSA Fest Proceeds

Our community is stunning and diverse and deserving of nurture. During financially tough times many organizations that serve the LGBTQ community are in need of help to insure that their work remains possible. Our intent with FABULOSA Fest is to recycle much needed funds back into the LGBTQ community. We chose these three organizations for their particular skill at doing so much with so little. Along with our proceeds, we offer a standing ovation. xxoo
